CWTCH, Crafting Coffee and Communities.

Owner Pete Watkins has been serving coffee and breakfasts to happy South Londoners since 2006. Now relocated to York, he is bringing his coffee expertise to Spark:York.

CWTCH (Welsh for a little hug) are looking forward to working with people and connecting them using amazing food and coffee. Spark:York’s social purpose was the biggest attraction for Pete when he heard about the project.

He says, “Coffee and food is a fantastic way of building and connecting communities. The first community we build at Spark will be our team. We will look to train a wide range of different people from all sorts of backgrounds. We will then look at building a broad community of customers.”

CWTCH will run a ‘Suspended Coffee’ program, which allows people to buy an extra coffee to be donated to someone who needs support.

In addition to coffee, CWTCH will be serving a range of food including granola pots and breakfast rolls.
