Getting all Dough Eyed over pizza.

York Pizza Co. serves Neapolitan style wood fired pizza.

Owner Chris Phillips started York Pizza Co. less than two years ago, but has already built up a strong business catering for parties and events from his ‘Pizza On The Hoof’ converted vintage horse box. Using only the finest ingredients such as fior di latte cheese, the pizzas are made by hand from scratch. They are cooked in wood-fired ovens at 400°in around 90 seconds. Now that’s what we call fast food!

As well as serving whole pizza, Chris will be serving it by the slice.  A ‘Pay it Forward’ system will allow people to pay for a slice of pizza for those less fortunate.

Chris’s passion for pizza is obvious. He says, “I love pizza. I love cooking. I love feeding people. What a cracking way to earn a crust.”

Chris will be trading at Spark:York as ‘Dough Eyed’.
